The
Eskimo's Shepherd.
The Lord is to me a mighty seal hunter,
I shall want no blubber.
He causeth me to prosper with much fish.
He giveth to me a good spear.
I call the spear love.
If I use this spear for Him,
He will bless me and show me how to share it.
I shall not want for seal.
Yea, though I walk over dangerous ice,
nothing destructive will befall me,
for He is with me--
and a stronger Companion.
He keeps my supply of seal and fish plentiful.
He keepeth me from fierce bears and wolves.
When I am tired because of hunting,
He is my strength and courage.
He causeth my trip to be abundantly successful.
Surely, if I serve Him,
good seal hunting and fishing
shall be with me
until one day
He will call me to live
with Him
in the "Big Igloo"
forever.
